How often do the automated workflows run?
Answer
We define that per workflow. Time-critical procedures — the handover of an incoming order, for example — are triggered by events, so the transfer starts immediately after the trigger. Uncritical reconciliations run at intervals, hourly or overnight for instance.
The choice has consequences for load and cost: a nightly run is gentler on the connected systems, an event-driven workflow delivers fresher data. We agree this per data flow rather than putting everything on the same cadence.
