Process Optimisation for Your Industry

Trades, manufacturing, service providers, wholesale, logistics and administration: we record your workflows, name the most expensive manual steps and replace them with IT.

Entry point · net plus VAT

from 1,900 € process analysis as the entry point
  • Analysis first, delivery afterwards at a fixed price
  • Industry-specific rules are named in the analysis and estimated separately
  • Licence costs for third-party software are shown separately
  • No lock-in to a particular software landscape

The process analysis starts at 1,900 € net and covers a survey of your workflows, a written report and a prioritised list of measures. Delivery per automation or interface starts at 4,900 € net and is fixed as a firm price after the analysis. Ongoing support starts at 190 € net per month. The price depends on the scope of the workflow, not on your industry. All prices net plus VAT; the rationale is on the pricing overview.

Prices as of September 2026. Ongoing services are booked individually and can be cancelled monthly; there is no minimum term.

Whether roofing company, component supplier, tax practice, wholesaler, haulage office or local authority: the bottleneck rarely sits inside the software but at the handover points between systems. Wherever a piece of information is printed, retyped, forwarded by email or copied into a list, effort is created that nobody notices because it is spread across the day. This overview shows which bottleneck is typical in which industry, what it costs day to day and which means resolve it.

Where Mid-Sized Companies Lose Time

The most expensive task is rarely the most visible one. During the survey we regularly find three to five points per company where the same information is captured a second time (project experience): the order number retyped into the accounting software, the supplier price list moved from an email into a spreadsheet, the timesheet copied out in the evening. Each individual step takes only a few minutes. Added up over a year they amount to the working time that is missing elsewhere — and because skilled staff are scarce across all industries (KfW), that gap can hardly be closed by hiring. The second cost driver is reporting: when figures on utilisation, open items or throughput times are collected from several sources every month, that quickly costs half a working day to a full one per month (project experience) and delivers a picture that is already out of date. We do not solve this with yet another tool but by picking up the figures where they arise anyway — what that looks like is described on the metrics and reporting page.

What Makes the Difference in Your Industry

In the trades, information is created on site and processed in the office. That route is exactly where the bottleneck sits: measurements, timesheets and material withdrawals are noted down, handed in during the evening and retyped later, often with gaps. Days pass before the invoice is written, and during that time nobody can say for certain whether a job is still within budget. We start at the point of capture so that data is recorded on a mobile device and flows into order and invoice without an intermediate step — details on the processes in the trades page.

In manufacturing, order data and shop floor reality often drift apart. The order sits in the commercial system while feedback on progress, scrap and rework arrives via routing slips or word of mouth. As a result the level of completion is only known with a delay, and delivery dates are promised generously as a precaution. We connect shop floor feedback and order management so that the current state is visible without asking; how that works technically is on the processes in manufacturing page.

For service providers, the stretch from enquiry to invoice is the actual product. Quote, project file, time recording and billing often sit in separate tools, so hours are assigned retrospectively and additional work is overlooked. Whatever is not recorded within a few days rarely reappears in full on the invoice. We close the chain and make utilisation per project visible — more on the processes for service providers page.

In wholesale, data maintenance decides the margin. Suppliers deliver prices and article data in different formats, maintenance ends up with individual people, and side lists for special conditions and discontinued items grow in parallel. Anyone writing a quote then works with a data set whose age nobody knows. We merge the sources into one maintained master record and automate the import — described on the processes in wholesale page.

In logistics, status information is the product alongside the journey itself. Orders arrive by email, portal or file, status updates and delivery receipts are captured several times, and freight-rate billing is assembled from stacks of documents at month end. Every customer enquiry then ties up dispatch and accounting at once. We automate order intake, status updates and document matching so that enquiries and billing draw on the same trail — see processes in logistics.

In administration, the case itself is the object that has to become digital. Applications arrive on paper or as a PDF, continue as an email chain or circulation folder, and the processing status is known only to whoever currently holds the case. Deadlines become hard to monitor and enquiries cost follow-up calls. We map the routing with responsibilities, deadlines and a searchable archive — see processes in administration.

Which workflow costs you the most time?

What All Industries Have in Common

One source per data field

For every piece of information it is defined which system owns it and which only reads it. Without that definition two versions keep overwriting each other.

A suitable cadence

Stock needs a different rhythm than master data. Per data flow we define whether transfer happens event-based, every minute or in a nightly run.

Repetition without side effects

A message delivered twice must not create a second case. Every transfer carries a unique key that makes repetitions harmless.

Visible error handling

If a transfer fails it enters a retry and afterwards an error list. Silently lost records are the most expensive kind of fault.

A documented workflow

Every automated task is documented so that it stays understandable without us. See process documentation.

Rollout with the people involved

A workflow is only used if it makes the day easier. That is why testing and training are part of the project.

We walk through your workflows with the people involved and record media breaks, duplicate entry and waiting times.

Key takeaways

  • The bottleneck sits at the handover points between systems, not inside a single piece of software.
  • Six worked-out industry profiles from the trades to public administration, each with its own detail page.
  • Every project starts with a survey of the current state, not with the choice of a tool.
  • Duplicate entry and the monthly hunt for figures are the two most common cost drivers in mid-sized companies.
  • Process analysis from 1,900 € net, delivery per automation or interface from 4,900 € net at a fixed price.
  • Ongoing support from 190 € net per month, all prices net plus VAT.
